Its a New Dawn, Its a New Day, Its a New Life for Me. And I´m feeling...GOOOOD!!!!

Hello Hello or should I say Hola Hola Family!!

How is everyone doing? I hope that all are doing well and that you´re not all dying of heat like we are down here! Let me tell you its hot! One sister is so funny and told us that every day that its hot like that, is a call to repentance. She said we´re just getting the taste of hell right now! Oh and is it so true! I have truly repented of all of my sins! :) So stay cool everyone!

So this week was a little rough to be honest, with the heat starting up, there aren´t a lot of peole outside to contact, so we´re not finding a lot of people to teach right now. Our numbers weren´t the best, but that is the amazing thing about God´s plan for us! We can repent, we can repent over and over again, and come away stronger each time! And everytime we repent, we feel GOOOOD!!! My title is not just because I love Michael Buble, but is how I feel each day can start. We can start each day with a new outlook, we can have a new dawn, day, life, thanks to the Atonement. As I ponder on what I have learned most on the mission and is the peace and joy that comes from applying the Atonement to my life each day. The mission is hard, there are so many commandments in the mission and at times you feel like such a sinner or that you just aren´t good enough. But I have come to know of the strength and forgiving power of the Atonement. I have felt the comforting love of my Savior when I felt I wasn´t good enough or the times when I knew I could have done better! But I know that each day, week, month, transfer, I am a better missionary and person. I have come to find a new life in the mission. One I hope to never give up. I have found the Savior in my life and the way that I can become more like my Savior. It´s not easy and I know I am far from perfect, but I know that I can become strong and that is what keeps me going. Everyday, I have a new life waiting for me that is bigger and better than I can imagine. I just have to trust and confide in my Savior and Heavenly Father. A scripture that has been my strength my whole mission and I truly have come to know for myself that is is true, is found in Ether 12:27:
And if men come unto me I will show unto them theirweakness. I give unto men weakness that they may be humble; and my grace is sufficient for all men that humblethemselves before me; for if they humble themselves before me, and have faith in me, then will I make weakthings become strong unto them.

I know that I have weakness, but I have seen myself become strong as I have relied on the Lord. I´m so far from where I need to be, but I know that I can become who I need to be through the Atonement of Christ. I testify that there is hope and that we can all become strong in Christ. Just trust in the Atonement, it is real.

I hope you all can apply the Atonement into your lives this week. That you can gain the hope of a new dawn, new day, and a new life, thanks to your Savior. He is there to help and always has been. Trust me, you will feel soooo GOOOOD!!

I hope you have a great week and know how much I love you guys! Stay strong and keep the faith!

Sweet is the Spirit a Child Brings

Hi Family!!!

How are you all doing?? I hope that this letter finds you all well!! All is well in Minatitlan! Summer is here and has gotten up to 105 for the high this week! I´m constantly sweating, but I´m happy! All is well in Zion!
So Luis and Marlene were baptised this last Saturday!! It was so special! They were so excited and showed up about 30 minutes before with the biggest smiles on their faces! It was a cute program as the primary gave talks and sang! There was a sweet spirit there and I know these kids are gonna be power houses for their families! They are so willing and humble! I love working with kids! They just love you the way you are and believe every word you say! I now understand the whole "suffer the children" because they really are the kingdom of God!

We have seen even more miracles in this last week. I´m convinced that Mina is just one big miracle! We have found a few new awesome and super prepared investigators, so we´re super excited for this next month!

I hope you all are doing well and all have a good week! Know that I love you all and pray for you each day! Also a big CONGRATS to Kiera Lynn!!! I´m so excited for you Kiera!! oh and for Tanner :)

Stay strong and keep the faith family! There is nothing standing in your way!

Con mucho amor,
Hermana Pasley

P.S. Sorry for the lack of fotos. The computers here don´t read my memory...so you may not be getting pics for a while. Sorry!

I´m a Mormon!

Hello Family!!!

How are we all?? First off...CONGRATS TO JOSH AND CAMI AND WELCOME LITTLE KENNEDY RAY!!!! i CAN´T WAIT TO HOLD HER! well I hope you´re not dying of heat as much as I am!!! Its begun...the heat has come to stay. The good news...i´ll be getting skinnier :) So I love this area. The people are so willing to listen and no one is quite as rude as in Villa!

The good news is that we have 2 baptisms this week!!! Woohoo!! When I got here, they literally had nothing! I´m not really sure what was going on, but we started from ground zero. So we've been contacting like crazy and looking for lots of new investigators! And these 2 little kids were abandoned by their Mom and were sent to their Dad´s house here in Mina. His wife is a recent convert and called us to teach them the lessons. They accepted baptism and a date in the first lesson. They really were the miracle that I have been praying for! There names are Luis (13) and Marlene (10). There so cute, dirt poor and literally have one pair of cloths, but the sweetest little things you have ever seen!! I´m so excited and know that God is with me every step of the way! I love the work!!!

This week we also got the chance to work with Hermana Morales (the presidents wife) yeah I was a little scared!! But it turned out to be a huge success and we were able to find 3 new investigators that are GOLDEN!!! We are so stoked!! I came to love Hermana Morales that day and her daughters cause they tagged along! It was a fun girls day out!! And to top of the scare, they let us watch Meet the Mormons. It is AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I loved it and was so proud to be a Mormon!

My name is Hermana Pasley, I´m a missionary, soccer lover, and I am a Mormon!!

With so much love,

Hermana Pasley

#LDSconf - You Know That's Right!

Hey Family!

So again I don´t have a lot of time...ugh time, its gonna be the death of me in the mission! But did you guys see conference??? Was it not AMAZING!!!! All I have to say is, IT´S SOOOOOOOOOO TRUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IT´S SO TRUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WE HAVE THE TRUTH AND I´M GOING TO DECLARE IT FROM THE ROOF TOPS or maybe the dusty streets of Mina, but IT´S SO TRUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Watching conference and hearing the power behind our leaders, you can´t help but feel its true. If you didn´t get the chance to see conference, I encourage you to go back and watch them! They gave us EVERY secret to have success and have eternal success! Watch it!

So yes, I am in Minatitlan, Veracruz! We´re in a small zone of only 12 missionaries and we´re the only sisters! Woot! My companions is Hermana Sarmiento she is from El Salvador and has 5 months in the mission. We were actually in Villa together so I already knew her! She is awesome and we´re super excited to work because there is a ton here!!

2 weeks ago, Dany got baptized!! Its a long story and I don´t have time to tell you all how amazing she is! Remind me later!

I love you all and hope that you have a great week! Know that I love you all so much and are always in my prayers! LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!
